For the final day of Shoespiration Week, I reached out to a friend for a pair of shoes that inspired her. She gave me a pair of shoes she had recently purchased from Nine West called the Mexicali Gladiator Sandal.
These sandals inspired me to create two different outfits that are white, whimsical and floral!
The outfit on the left is easy and breezy! A white tiered dress from New Look covered with a floral kimono from Revolve. Accessorized with a long turquoise necklace from Ruche and a lilac fold clutch from Pixie Market.
The right outfit is for the preppy girl with a little edge. The pair of floral shorts from Zara are the statement piece of this outfit. Paired with a white tiered shirt also from Zara with lace detailing at the top. Of course accessorized with a double necklace from Express – one of my favorite fashion items – and an easy gray crossbody bag from Ruche.

Before my boyfriend left on co-op, he was my go-to photographer for all my fashion photos. That being said, after he left, it was hard to ask anyone to stand outside and take randoms photos of me – which is why I’m constantly sharing style boards with you all! But when I get the opportunity to, I love to share my actual fashion with you, so a shout out to my wonderful friend Amanda for taking these for me!
This is my outfit of the day today:
Since I shared a style board with a white blazer, I figured I’d show off how I style my own. The white blazer is from New York and Company, the white collared lace tank is from Marshalls, the pink skirt from Forever 21 and the sandals are ANA. The circle clock necklace is from Charlotte Russe.
What girl doesn’t love painting her nails? It seems that now a days, one of the extremely popular fads that has been featured in Cosmo these past few months is the variety of nail polish colors and styles. While I can’t afford all of the fancy pens to do nail designs, one of the easiest (and my favorite) ways to switch it up is to wear multiple polish colors at once, as the title of this post suggests – the more the merrier! Here are a few examples of the colors I pair together:
This mix up was a purple gradient using the variety of colors and polishes below.
From left to right:
- Sally Hansen Pat on the Black – Sally Hansen Plum Luck – Pure ICE 966CP – Essie Play Date – Essie Splash of Grenadine
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Black Out – Sally Hansen Right Said Red – Pure ICE 541CP – Sinful Colors Snow me White
You can really mix up any and all colors – the key is to just have fun with it ! 🙂
Today’s shoespiration goes to another pair of Steve Madden’s called the ELOUISEE.
A perfect shoe to be worn with work attire, I paired the ELOUISEE with black and white checked slacks from H&M and a blue tank with fun detail in the front from 90s Lullaby. Two articles of clothing I would love to have in my wardrobe! Covered with a simple white tuxedo jacket from H&M and accessorized with a silver crocodile clutch from Daily Look and a silver plated stretch bracelet from Bloomingdales. No necklace for this look, as the shirt detailing is a statement enough on its own!
Today’s shoe inspiration goes to the CADAUDDA’s from ALDO.
The left is a classic outfit, starting with a little black razorback dress from MANGO. The red and teal bauble necklace from Francesca’s accentuates the color patterns in the shoe. Paired with a red John Lewis bag to really get that pop of color. This outfit dresses the shoe up, which makes it a perfect contender for an evening date.
The right outfit gives the floral shoe a bit more edge. Paired with a striped graphic tee from MANGO and a red mini skirt from Forever 21. Keeping with the black and white pattern also present in the shoe, it is accessorized with a striped clutch from Lord and Taylor and a black and white woven necklace from Forever 21. Perfect for a day on the town or lunch with the girls.

For this week’s posts, I have decided to create outfits inspired by different pair of shoes. Today’s pair are the Steve Madden OBSESSONs.
Also available in black or black and tan, the OBSESSON platforms are the perfect summer sandal.
Paired with off white cut out shorts from H&M and a high neck crop top from Free People. Accessorized with a gold ladder necklace from Urban Outfitters and a spiral arm cuff from NEW LOOK. The outfit is paired with a white woven leather shoulder bag from Fossil.
Both of these day-to-night looks are completely styled with items from H&M. Inspired by two different clothing types, the left look is the “Edgy Rocker” and the right, the “Classic Queen”.
“Edgy Rocker” – The black t-shirt dress with cutouts and a tie in front is perfect for summer. The shape of the dress is flattering for any body type and the cutout placement allows you to show off some skin without revealing any self-conscious sections. The dress is paired with a silver plated necklace and a yellow shoulder bag for a pop of color. Also paired with black cut-out platform sandals. This outfit is perfect to wear shopping during the day or even as a casual look out at night.
“Classic Queen” – The spaghetti strap burgundy dress is clean yet elegant, which is perfect for the day-to-night transition. Paired with a gold statement necklace, a light pink bag and beige ankle strap heels. Pair this outfit with a beige or white blazer for work, or ditch the blazer and head out to a dinner date in this classic look.

If you know me, you know my idol to be the beautiful and talented Sarah Jessica Parker. In honor of the shows 16 year anniversary, I decided to replicate one of Miss. Carrie Bradshaw’s most iconic outfits, featured in the recent Marie Claire article of The 12 Most Iconic Looks from Sex and the City.
But I’m sorry ladies and gentleman, this is Carrie Bradshaw we’re talking about here, which means I HAD to include a pair of Monolo Blahnik’s for the shoes, found at Nordstorm for $725. A lady can dream right?
